How well is your money supporting your life?

Financial wellness is not simply what you earn or what sits in an account. It is whether you can manage today, absorb change, plan ahead and make choices that matter to you.

How it works

A useful snapshot, with its limits made clear.

The score combines five parts of financial life. Each dimension contributes 20 points to an overall score from 0 to 100.

  1. 01
    Fifteen responses

Each answer runs from 1 to 5. A small number of questions are reverse-scored to reduce automatic response patterns.

  2. 02
    Five equal dimensions

Day-to-day control, resilience, debt and commitments, future readiness, and confidence and choice each carry equal weight.

  3. 03
    One transparent score

Each dimension is converted to 0–100, then the five results are averaged. Higher means more room, security and choice—not greater personal worth.

Evidence-informed, not yet a validated diagnostic.

The themes draw on the CCPC’s Irish financial wellbeing research, the OECD/INFE measurement framework and the CFPB definition of financial wellbeing. The wording and equal-weight scoring are original to Money, Just For Her and should be piloted before being used for formal research, employee benchmarking or outcome claims.

What this score will never tell you

Whether you are “good” with money.

Whether your circumstances are your fault.

What financial product you should buy.

Want to go beyond the score?

A score can show you where to look. A conversation can help you decide what comes next.
